Description

Bulgur TM Bisan is a hearty and nutritious side dish that has recently gained popularity in Ukraine. Despite its exotic name, this cereal is made from ordinary steamed crushed wheat. Bulgur is commonly cooked with vegetables, herbs, mushrooms, meat, or dried fruits. It can also be prepared as a sweet dish with milk. Bulgur has a pleasant nutty flavor, satisfies well, and feels light on the stomach.

Preparation Method:

- Rinse the bulgur

- Add to boiling salted water (ratio 1:2)

- Bring to a boil and simmer over low heat for 15–20 minutes until tender

Так, булгур можна вважати кашею, але з нюансами
- Що таке булгур?
Булгур - це крупа з пшениці (зазвичай твердих сортів), яку попередньо пропарюють, сушать і подрібнюють.
Завдяки цій обробці він швидко готується та має приємний смак.
- Чому його називають кашею?
Якщо булгур варити у воді чи бульйоні, як гречку чи рис, він стає м'яким і розсипчастим – тобто перетворюється на кашу.
Особливо на східній кухні булгур часто використовується як гарнір, основа для салатів або як компонент плову.
